Autism Assessments
Social Responsiveness Scale™
The SRS-2 is a quantitative assessment that identifies social impairment that is associated with the autism spectrum. Multiple categories of social impairment are assessed including special interests and sensory issues. This provides a deep understanding of how autism shows up, which is unique for every individual. The SRS-2 has been shown to be one of the most effective tools measure the severity of social impairment. If autism is not present, the SRS-2 can help identify other conditions in which social impairment is present.
MIGDAS-2™ Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum, Second Edition
The MIGDAS-2 provides a qualitative assessment to acquire the needed information to diagnose autism in children, adolescents, and adults. A sensory-base interview is conducted with the person being evaluated. Gathering information from parents, teachers, and others involved in the client’s life is an option as well. A comprehensive report is generated based on the results of the MIGDAS-2. This report details the individual’s unique ways of engaging the world and provides insights for future treatment planning. The MIGDAS-2 is an excellent complement to the SRS-2 as it provides further narrative understanding of a client’s behaviors which indicate autistic spectrum features.
