Evan is a registered associate clinical social worker (ACSW) and a licensed master social worker (LMSW), supervised by Dr. Thomas Lucking. Evan is a trauma-informed therapist, who specializes in intimacy issues, couples, sexuality, and somatic trauma processing. Evan also specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and those who suffered from childhood mental, physical, and sexual abuse.

In Evan’s practice, he believes wellness is not merely qualified by high functioning or low functioning but a much more nuanced relationship with self and the environment.

Evan has a special interest working with Neurodiverse couples. He works under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Lucking, PhD who is a published author, speaker, and expert in the field of Neurodiversity. Evan supports NT partners who are struggling with OTRS (Ongoing Traumatic Relationship Syndrome). He uses the Island of Shared meaning model that Dr. Lucking created to support ND relationships and partners to bridge the Neurodiverse gap that these relationships struggle with.

As a trauma-informed therapist, Evan is interested in understanding the connection between the traumatized mind-body to facilitate a transition from survival to flourishing and from coping to thriving. Evan is passionate about working with a diverse array of individuals and couples to facilitate wellness, via their mental, physical, sexual, and spiritual health. Evan has worked with an extensive array of diverse sexualities, ages, genders, ethnicities, and ideological backgrounds.

Evan will be here with you every step as you work through your healing. Environmental factors play a large role in mental health, so Evan prioritizes the person-in-environment model, in order to identify real-world risks to your wellbeing. Evan always uses a multidimensional approach, so your needs will best be met via his training in a wide breadth of modalities.

It takes courage and bravery to go within ourselves. To travel within and understand our own fears and role in the darkness, might be one of the hardest journeys for many, but simultaneously, the most rewarding. Evan completely understands the daunting nature of starting with a new therapist, but when you’re ready we’ll take the first steps together.

Insight and Humor

“After several attempts toward finding the right fit in a therapist, I’m so glad that I didn’t give up and that I found Evan. He easily established rapport in an authentic way and we’ve been on a roll ever since.

Evan has a rare combination of a refreshing sense of humor, an insightful intellect, and an empathic heart. I look forward to our weekly sessions and they’re an opportunity to celebrate the highs and share the lift of the lows. Evan helps me navigate the existential complexity of behaving ethically in a national culture with questionable ethics.

I can honestly say that I feel like I’m looking outward with vastly improved lenses and more importantly gazing inward at a man that I’ve grown proud to become. Evan has helped me to better love myself and to love being alive in the present moment.

If any of what I’ve written resonates in a way that piques your curiosity, I encourage you to avoid hesitating and book a session with Evan immediately”
– Ryan M, Client
