Emily is a registered associate marriage and family therapist (AMFT), supervised by Dr. Thomas Lucking. Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Fox University, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Emily is currently working on her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Emily began her clinical training working with children with developmental disorders and providing animal-assisted therapy to elementary school children. Emily’s training in therapy is widespread having worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of behavioral and emotional disabilities.

Emily’s goal as a therapist is to provide her clients with a safe, compassionate, and receptive space in which they can openly explore their challenges, successes, and life experiences in order to obtain their goals and flourish. Emily uses an eclectic approach to therapy in order to personalize treatment according to each individual’s needs. Her services are always supportive and non-judgmental. Emily believes people have everything they need to heal inside them and that with proper support and tools they can go from surviving to thriving.
