Cassie is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker and is supervised by Dr. Thomas Lucking. Cassie’s approach is strengths based and patient centered. Her specialties include helping clients with anxiety, ADHD, depression, autism, oppositional defiant disorder, trauma related disorders and more. Cassie has an open minded, trauma focused approach with experience in high trauma settings and a deep understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they can impact an individual and their mental and physical health across the lifespan.

Cassie has experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. She has experience working in foster care and transitional housing programs. Cassie also has experience working with children and families impacted by domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, and neglect.

Cassie has a specialty working with Neurodiverse couples. She works under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Lucking, PhD who is a published author, speaker, and expert in the field of Neurodiversity. Cassie supports NT partners who are struggling with OTRS (Ongoing Traumatic Relationship Syndrome). She uses the Island of Shared meaning model that Dr. Lucking created to support ND relationships and partners to bridge the Neurodiverse gap that these relationships struggle with.

Being internationally born in the United Kingdom and having a father whose job title came with many moves, Cassie has experience with major change from a very young age and understands the difficulties and uncertainties that can come with change. Cassie is a Joy to Work With

“I was referred to Cassie Roving for help with family issues. Cassie is wonderful and it’s a joy working with her. She is bright, knowledgeable, kind and clearly understands my situation/issue. Her advice and guidance are excellent and have been very helpful in not only working through this issue but others we’ve discussed as well. I look forward to working with Cassie as part of my support system currently and for future needs that may arise for me.”
