Alyx is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#133456). She graduated with her Master of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and is supervised by Chandra Hoelsken, LMFT and Dr. Thomas Lucking, PhD.

Alyx believes that though the past led us to where and who we are today, it does not necessarily have to define us, nor does it have to predetermine our future. Alyx collaborates with her clients and helps them navigate the journey of life, empowering clients to be their best self. She specializes in personal growth, anxiety/depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

Alyx utilizes a trauma-informed and holistic approach across her therapy work. Alyx understands the connection between mind, body, and environmental and cultural factors. She joins with clients to help them create and reach their goals, and their quality of life beyond just the “normal functional level.” Alyx provides a caring, open, nonjudgmental, and even fun space for clients to facilitate growth and healing. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, eating disorder programs, and private practice.

Alyx understands the challenges that may come with experiencing trauma and hardship. She also understands the importance of validating community support and healthy relationships. Alyx approaches her work with clients authentically, and enjoys encouraging and empowering clients to be their authentic selves.
